MoonPhases.

A simple, useful way to mark time — emotional release, new beginnings, love reflection, and spiritual timing — without turning your life into a ritual you can't keep up with.

The Four Phases

New Moon

Set intentions. Begin.

The sky is dark and the page is empty. This is the phase for naming what you want — quietly, honestly — before momentum builds. Plant the seed; don't dig it up to check on it.

Waxing Moon

Build. Take action.

The moon is growing. What you named at the new moon is asking to be acted on. Small daily steps move more than big bursts.

Full Moon

Release. Reveal. See clearly.

Everything is illuminated — including what you'd rather not look at. The full moon shows what's been growing in the dark. Cry if you need to. Forgive what's ready. Let go of what's complete.

Waning Moon

Reflect. Rest. Edit.

The light pulls back. This is the phase for sorting, simplifying, and honoring what the cycle taught you. It's also the most underrated phase for sleep and quiet.

Love Reflection by the Moon

The new moon is for asking what kind of love you actually want — not what you'd settle for. The full moon is for noticing what your current relationship is teaching you, including the parts that hurt.

If the moon keeps surfacing the same question, that's worth bringing into a private love reading. Cycles repeat until something changes.

Common Questions

Do I need to do a ritual at every moon phase?

No. The moon is not an assignment. Many people simply notice — light a candle, write a note, sit with what's surfacing. That's enough.

What's a full moon ritual that won't feel forced?

Light a candle. Write down what you're ready to release. Read it aloud once. Burn it safely, or tear it up. Sleep. The point is to mark the moment, not perform it.

Does the moon really affect emotions?

Anecdotally, many people — and many psychics, including Kate — notice that the days around the full moon bring up old feelings, intense conversations, and unfinished business. Whether the moon causes it or simply mirrors it is the conversation of a lifetime.
