Sun · Moon · Rising · Venus · Mars
Your chart is more than your sun sign. Five quiet placements that shape personality, emotion, attraction, and how you move through your own life.

A birth chart is a snapshot of the sky the moment you were born. Each planet in each sign in each house speaks to a different part of who you are. The five placements below are the ones that most often change how someone reads their own chart for the first time.
This page is educational. It's a starting point, not a personal reading. When the question stops being "what does my chart mean in general" and starts being "what is happening in my life right now," that's the moment a private conversation with Kate matters more than any chart calculation.
The Five Foundational Placements
Your core self
The version of you that the world thinks it knows. Your basic personality, what you're trying to grow into, and the energy you naturally lead with.
Your inner world
How you actually feel things — under the public version. The moon often runs your emotional reactions, your need for comfort, and what makes you feel safe.
Your first impression
The mask you wear walking into a room. How strangers read you. Often more visible than your sun sign in casual contact.
How you love
Your love language, your taste in people, what makes you feel adored, and what you have to learn about giving and receiving affection.
How you act and pursue
Your drive, your temper, how you go after what you want, and how you handle conflict — including in love.
What a Chart Can — and Can't — Tell You
A chart can show patterns. It can describe how you tend to love, where you tend to struggle, what kind of work or relationship tends to ground you, and which seasons of life are likely to ask the most of you.
It cannot tell you what your husband is thinking, whether a specific person will call you, or what to do on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Those are conversations, not charts.
Common Questions
Your birth date, the city you were born in, and — most importantly — the exact time of birth. Without an accurate time, the rising sign and house placements can't be calculated.
It's the most familiar, not the most important. The moon often runs your emotional life and the rising sign shapes how the world meets you.
Kate's private readings are intuitive sessions, not technical chart calculations. If a chart conversation has raised a question you can't put down, that's a good question to bring into a reading.
